Description
When hiring one of our chairs, some choose to add a burlap pad. These are additional soft furnishings that are tied on to the chair, giving the seat an extra layer of padding and additional comfort for the seated guests – particularly during colder months.
Adding a burlap pad can be a thoughtful choice, especially if you are hosting outside of summer, and looking to prioritise the comfort of your guests at your event. When winter bites, a little extra padding can make all the difference! Further, if you are expecting guests to be seated for a long time, whatever the weather, a burlap can help enhance the comfort of seating surfaces. The natural fibres of our pads provide a soft and breathable cushioning, making the chairs a touch easier to remain in for extended periods of use.
That said, burlaps shouldn’t only be considered for their practical advantages. They can also add an aesthetic element adding texture and character to the seating arrangement. The earthy tones and organic texture of burlap complement a wide range of decor styles, from vintage and shabby chic to bohemian or country-inspired themes. The light beige jute contrasts nicely against the dark wood of our oak cross back chairs, or can be used to complement the equally neutral tone of our folding wooden chair. And if you’ve got your heart set on another colour, just get in touch with us for options!
