Description

These classic oak wine barrels are a sturdy alternative to the poseur table. Dotted around a venue, they create the perfect opportunity for your guests to park up and chat to friends whilst enjoying a drink. With a wide base and rustic look, these tables are both difficult to tip and easy to clean up should a spill occur. All in all, they are a great choice for summer garden parties, festivals, weddings, marquee events and of course anything involving a beer!

Just like standard poseur tables, our oak wine barrels are a nice way for guests to casually mingle before or after any seated events. They can also be the main gathering points for less formal parties, where people will move around throughout the event. They are generally used without chairs so anyone passing by can invite themselves into a conversation!

Our oak barrels are, as the name suggests, made from solid oak and are repurposed from their original use of storing wine. That means they are heavy (but with our delivery service, you don’t need to worry about that!) and strong, whilst still maintaining the attractive rustic character that makes them a perennially popular choice across all kinds of events.

Not just one-trick ponies, these barrels have more than one use. You can use two, three, or more alongside a solid table top to create a rustic-style bar. They’re ideal for props, flower arrangements, signs and cakes. We’ve even seen them used to create beer-pong tables!

Whatever you use them for, hire your oak barrels from us for an effortless hire and set up.

You can make a quote request by building a basket here – just like any other website! At checkout rather than paying anything you’ll just send a quote request through to our team. They will look at it and send back a full quote, or let you know if there is any reason why we cant help. This shouldn’t take more than one working day. If you want some more information before asking for a quote, try out ‘Understanding our Fees’ page.

Just send an email or call the office. We understand that event requirements change a lot in the weeks and days leading up to a big event, so don’t worry about tweaking numbers a few times before finalising your order. If your change is very last-minute, please call rather than email as we can get very busy.

In instances where your delivery has already left the warehouse, we will unfortunately not be able to complete any changes without incurring a further delivery fee.

No! We understand that setting up for an event, and clearing up afterwards can take a long time so our hire period is for up to FIVE days, not including delivery and collection day.
For example, you can request us to deliver to you on Thursday, giving you Friday, Saturday and Sunday to enjoy your event, and then have us collect everything on Monday.

Yes, we unfortunately can’t accept hires that don’t meet our £50 (excluding VAT) minimum. That includes orders you yourself are collecting.

Our main area of business is Yorkshire and the North East. We regularly visit Leeds, York, Northallerton, Harrogate, Ripon, Thirsk, Bradford, Beverly, Scarborough, Goole, Hull, the Yorkshire Moors, the Yorkshire Dales and across to the Lake District.

However, how far we will go depends on your order size. We have delivered extra large orders to addresses in Scotland and in Wales before, but if you are making a small order it may be that we can offer it as collection only.

See our Deliveries and Collections pages for further info.

We charge £1.50 per mile from our warehouse to your venue. There is one charge for delivery, and one for collection.

This price includes the set up and breakdown of any furniture, stages, heaters, dance floors, tents and kitchen equipment. We deliver crockery and cutlery packed in boxes and will leave these in the ost convenient place to you.

Not sure how hiring with YES Hire works?

Let us break it down…

1. Browse the website. Build your basket, as you would any online shop. The total in your basket will give you an accurate figure for your hire items, and an estimate for services.

 2. Request a Quote. Fill out your information at ‘check out’ and we will send you a free and no-obligation quote accurately tailored to your specific needs. We only ask for information we need to give a true quote, which may differ slightly from what you see in the basket depending on your needs.

3. Receive your quote. Once we’ve seen your quote we will check we can complete your request, and make any amendments required to the quote. Please allow one working day to receive your quote.

4. Discuss your quote with us! We are a friendly team and ready to talk through any aspect of your quote with you. Just let us know what you need, or if there is anything you need to query.

5. Confirm your hire. At this point, if you’re happy with the quote, we will send you a hire agreement to confirm your hire, reserving your items for you. The signature is all we need, with payment due up to two weeks before your hire.

Don’t forget our team can handle the delivery, furniture, stage and dancefloor setup, and collection of items ensuring a hassle-free experience for you. Learn more about our services here!
