Each tile has an aluminium frame, giving sturdiness to the overall structure, no matter how high energy your guests are! These dance floors are designed with foot-stompers and heel-scrapers in mind – this oak dance floor is a commercial grade laminate, making it resistant to dents and scratches. The metal edging pieces give your floor a finished look, and have a soft sloping edge eliminating trip-hazards and making the walk from the table to the dance floor as smooth as possible!
Ever dreamed of dancing with your friends under the stars? Why not?! Our dance floors are suitable for installation on a flat grass surface for moonlit first dances. They are waterproof too – even if the grass is damp or you end up partying through the rain, that’s all right with us. And if you don’t trust the Yorkshire weather (and we don’t blame you) and you’ve opted for a tent or a marquee – just let us know if you need a hole piece to wrap your dance floor around the pole.
Is a dance floor necessary?
We aren’t here to stop you from dancing on the table tops or on the lawn but if you want to protect the floor/carpet/lawn from hordes of high heels and boots dancing the conga ‘til 3am then we would highly recommend one. Not only that but dance floors do provide that subtle invitation to get your guests up and moving!
How big a dance floor do I need?
You know best how many of your guests are likely to get up and dance! But that said, we’d recommend this dance floor for events with 150 guests. You might want to consider going up to the 24×24 oak dance floor if you’ve got more guests, or the 18 x 18 oak dance floor if it is a bit smaller.
