Commonly referred to as a catering table these 2ft6” x 6ft rectangular trestles are a workhorse of events! They are ideal for use in kitchens and catering tents as they are narrow enough to allow multiple lanes to be set up: this maximises the surface area you can create for plating preparation whilst also allowing service staff to pass between them to create a seamless service.
This table can also be hired as a dining table, seating three down each side, and potentially two at the end! Create long banquet-style tables by joining them end to end and covering them with 70″ x 144″ table cloths. If you need a slightly wider table, perhaps for youdecorations, or if you’re serving food at the table, you might prefer the slightly wider 3ft x 6ft trestle table.
The 2ft6” x 6ft trestle tables, just like our round trestle tables, are constructed with a smooth plywood top and sturdy metal frame, offering a perfect balance of durability and weight. They are easy to handle, should you need to rearrange or move your dining set up, but stable and strong. This folding design also makes them practical and efficient for storage should you need to do so.
Should you choose to use our delivery service, we are more than happy to unload and set up your tables for you. Just send us a plan ahead of time of how you want your dining area or kitchen to be set up. If you’ve decided to hire chairs or other kitchen equipment with us, we can set all of this out too. When it comes to collection, just make sure everything is clear and ready for loading and we will do the rest.
Don’t forget; with these tables a tablecloth is essential. A table plan is an essential piece of the puzzle when working out tablecloths, so if you have that to hand that would be great.
