Our Surf crockery range is an option for those looking for an interesting piece of crockery, without the dark tones. With its subtle grey-green tones, Surf takes its inspiration from the colours and textures of the coast. It’s distinctive enough to add interest to a table, without competing with the food, flowers or other details of your event.
Our coupe-style plates have a smooth curve from the centre right through to the edge, rather than a wide defined rim. This gives chefs and caterers plenty of usable space for plating, and also means they are perfect for use with gravies, jus or anything that might not work on a flatter plate. The softly patterned finish also makes an excellent backdrop for colourful food, helping fresh ingredients and carefully arranged dishes really stand out.
Because Surf is available as a matching range you can hire matching crockery for your full menu. Choose from our 9″ coupe plate, 10.5″ coupe plate and 9.75″ pasta plate, allowing you to carry the same look through different courses.
Of course, attractive crockery still has to cope with the realities of a catering! Our Surf range is tougher than it looks: made from vitrified porcelain, and designed for use in commercial hospitality environments.
