Description

This is our winter-warmer special: the highly functional 10-litre Soup Kettle!  Designed with practicality in mind, this kettle really is an essential item for any catering event, from corporate gatherings to outdoor festivals. Despite being named a ‘soup kettle’ this piece of equipment is so much more than that. It is the perfect place to keep stews and curries warm too. You can serve them directly from the kettle, or use it to keep bulk food hot during a longer service. And, of course, come Christmas time, this is the ideal choice for mulled wines and hot cider (served with a roll of cinnamon in a latte glass, of course…)

Easy to use, the kettle uses the ‘twin-skin’ method. Remove the main dish and pour hot water into the kettle. You can then replace and fill the main dish, and use the dial on the front to adjust and maintain the temperature as you require. With a range from 35°C to 95°C you can choose a cooler temperature to serve at events with children or the elderly,  or go for piping hot soup to be served into a soup cup, ready to warm cold hands at an outdoor event.  The combination of the wet heat method and the precise temperature control means you don’t have to worry about the bottom burning, or anything drying out, whilst you are busy with other tasks.

When using to serve food you can make use of the half lid, which flips open to allow quick and easy access whilst still retaining heat. It also features a notch to allow you to rest your ladle inside the kettle. Keeping half of the lid closed, not only warms your serving ladle but also keeps the contents piping hot, maximising efficiency.

The soup kettle has a substantial 10-litre capacity, so it is a practical choice for events with a lot of guests, whilst its compact size means it occupies minimal space on your buffet table or workspace. The large capacity significantly reduces the need for frequent refills, allowing you to focus more on serving your guests and less on kitchen logistics.  Plus, weighing just over 5kg, the kettle is also easily portable,  an indispensable feature for mobile caterers or event organisers who need to set up in different locations.

In addition to this soup kettle, we also offer a range of options to keep your food at its best during service. Our chafing dishes are ideal to complement a buffet set up,  whilst the bain marie hot cupboard is a solid option for back-of-house plating. Let us know how else we can make your Yorkshire event a sucess!

  • We have a huge range of products meaning we are a one-stop shop for DIY events!
  • We have an emergency number for you to call any time should there be an issue with our products whilst you’re hiring them
  • Our delivery service is unrivalled! With a 6-vehicle fleet and well-trained drivers we can do heavy loads in Leeds city centre and drop offs in the middle of a muddy field. Whatever you need – we can get there.

You can make a quote request by building a basket here – just like any other website! At checkout rather than paying anything you’ll just send a quote request through to our team. They will look at it and send back a full quote, or let you know if there is any reason why we cant help. This shouldn’t take more than one working day. If you want some more information before asking for a quote, try out ‘Understanding our Fees’ page.

Just send an email or call the office. We understand that event requirements change a lot in the weeks and days leading up to a big event, so don’t worry about tweaking numbers a few times before finalising your order. If your change is very last-minute, please call rather than email as we can get very busy.

In instances where your delivery has already left the warehouse, we will unfortunately not be able to complete any changes without incurring a further delivery fee.

No! We understand that setting up for an event, and clearing up afterwards can take a long time so our hire period is for up to FIVE days, not including delivery and collection day.
For example, you can request us to deliver to you on Thursday, giving you Friday, Saturday and Sunday to enjoy your event, and then have us collect everything on Monday.

Yes, we unfortunately can’t accept hires that don’t meet our £50 (excluding VAT) minimum. That includes orders you yourself are collecting.

We charge £1.50 per mile from our warehouse to your venue. There is one charge for delivery, and one for collection.

This price includes the set up and breakdown of any furniture, stages, heaters, dance floors, tents and kitchen equipment. We deliver crockery and cutlery packed in boxes and will leave these in the ost convenient place to you.

How far we will go depends on your order size. Our main area of business is Yorkshire and the North East. We regularly visit Leeds, York, Northallerton, Harrogate, Ripon, Thirsk, Bradford, Beverly, Scarborough, Goole, Hull, the Yorkshire Moors, the Yorkshire Dales and across to the Lake District.

However, we have delivered extra large orders to addresses in Scotland and in Wales before, but if you are making a small order it may be that we can offer it as collection only.

Not sure how hiring with YES Hire works?

Let us break it down…

1. Browse the website. Build your basket, as you would any online shop. The total in your basket will give you an accurate figure for your hire items, and an estimate for services.

 2. Request a Quote. Fill out your information at ‘check out’ and we will send you a free and no-obligation quote accurately tailored to your specific needs. We only ask for information we need to give a true quote, which may differ slightly from what you see in the basket depending on your needs.

3. Receive your quote. Once we’ve seen your quote we will check we can complete your request, and make any amendments required to the quote. Please allow one working day to receive your quote.

4. Discuss your quote with us! We are a friendly team and ready to talk through any aspect of your quote with you. Just let us know what you need, or if there is anything you need to query.

5. Confirm your hire. At this point, if you’re happy with the quote, we will send you a hire agreement to confirm your hire, reserving your items for you. The signature is all we need, with payment due up to two weeks before your hire.
